Summer Programs and Schedule

RTP’s Summer Program will begin this year the week of July 10th and run through the week of August 14th. All programming is open to youth entering 6th grade and up in Fall 2017, and is free of charge. Drop-In Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:30-9pm

Stop by to play games, use the computers, work on Summer Reading or Homework, watch moies, hangout with our great volunteers, and just have a safe, fun and FREE place to spend your afternoon and evenings.


Special Summer Drop in Activity: “Thursday Night at the Movies”

Each Thursday starting at 6:00 pm we will show a different movie, complete with popcorn and snacks. Bring your suggestions and a friend so we can enjoy some great movies together!


Hoffman Art Program

Registration is required for each class as space is limited, so grab a friend and sign up today!


Science Club: Tuesdays 3:00-5:00pm:

Join us for a summer of experiments, learning and fun, led by Kim. This summer will focus on animal sciences and include trips to Philadelphia’s Insectarium & Butterfly Pavilion. Click here to register.


Craft Class: Tuesdays 5:00-7:00 pm:

What better way to beat the heat than by getting a little crafty! Come out and relax with volunteer Jacinta on Tuesday evenings as you make a different craft creation each week! Click here to register.


Visual Arts (&Crafts) Class: Wednesdays 6-8 pm.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that, join volunteer Dawn for a mix of visual art and crafts. Painting, decoupage, crafts, and more, we will dabble in a bit of everything Wednesday evenings and also design the next large wall art piece to be placed in the center! Click here to register.


Savage Worlds Role Playing Game: Thursdays 2:30-5:30pm:

Join us for an afternoon of fun and creativity led by volunteer Mike. Using the Savage Worlds game system, students will come together to create a world and the characters that inhabit it. After that, they’ll take their personal characters and play through an adventure designed just for them. Click here to register.
