“Feast Night” Service Project

feast of justiceRTP_facebookB

What is it? A joint project between RTP & FoJ that will provide a hot meal for the community served by Feast of Justice.

  • Youth will help prepare/serve/cleanup the meal and build relationship with people in the Feast of Justice community.
  • Youth may choose to help lead a casual community worship service after the meal.
  • Students will also learn about food insecurity, customer service, and leadership. This is an ongoing project with the expectation of an ongoing commitment by the youth involved.

When will this be held? On the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 5:30-8:30pm.   There will be a mandatory initial class at RTP to train registered youth.

Where will this be? At Feast of Justice (3101 Tyson Ave). Students will receive van transportation from and back to Turning Point.

Who can participate? In order for Feast of Justice to prepare, signups are required.  RTP students can register online September 1sr. Space is limited so please be sure to register in advance!  (This is a FREE event but registration is required!)
